Why does faeringLogic not use javascript?

Keep it simple stupid
Ok... but why?
Several tools were considered when I created this website. Jekyll, Hugo, github pages, etc. I did not want to use any of them. I became frustrated with them. I want something simple. No builds. No installs. No styling.
All I want is a place to put projects, thoughts, and updates. I want to put out information, and to do that does not require fanciness. To a degree, this website is a challenge to myself.
By keeping things as simple as possible, no fancy css or javascript; no react; no vue.js; no frameworks. Just HTML. JUST HTML. I hope I will learn basic concepts that I take for granted.
